Priyansh Arya became a crorepati when Punjab Kings edged Delhi Capitals, Mumbai Indians and Royal Challengers Bengaluru for his services during the Indian Premier League (IPL) auction on Monday.
Arya, who had entered the IPL 2025 Auction at Rs 30 lakh, earned nearly 13-times that amount as PBKS spent Rs 3.80 crore for his skills. After some interest from DC and MI, it remained a tussle between PBKS and RCB from the Rs 85 lakh mark.In the end, PBKS’ offer of Rs 3.80 crore proved far too big for RCB to keep the bidding war going.
