NEW DELHI: Indian cricketers shined in the latest ICC rankings for white-ball cricket, with notable achievements in the T20I format.
Hardik Pandya, India’s dynamic all-rounder, has once again secured the top spot in the ICC T20I all-rounder rankings.
Pandya’s return to the number one position follows his stellar performances in India’s recent 3-1 T20I series victory against South Africa, where he played a pivotal role with both bat and ball.
Young Indian batting sensation Tilak Varma has made a remarkable entry into the top 10 of the ICC Men’s T20I batting rankings, climbing a whopping 69 places following his two centuries and 280 runs for the series against the Proteas.

Varma’s outstanding performance in the T20I series against South Africa, where he was named Player of the Series, made him the highest ranked India batter in T20Is at the third spot, ahead of skipper Suryakumar Yadav (fourth position).
Indian batter Sanju Samson has also climbed the T20I batting rankings, reaching the 22nd spot after showcasing his batting prowess against South Africa.
South African batters Tristan Stubbs (23rd) and Heinrich Klaasen (59th) have also moved up in the T20I batting rankings.
In the ICC Men’s T20I bowling rankings, India’s left-arm pacer Arshdeep Singh has attained a career-best ranking of ninth.
Australian bowlers Adam Zampa and Nathan Ellis have also made notable progress in the T20I bowling rankings.
Sri Lankan cricketers have made their presence felt in both T20I and ODI rankings following their recent series win against New Zealand.
Kusal Mendis has climbed the T20I batting rankings, sharing the 12th spot, while Maheesh Theekshana has risen to sixth in the ODI bowling rankings after consistent performances.
Sri Lankan batters Mendis and Avishka Fernando have both climbed the ODI batting rankings, while New Zealand’s Will Young has also moved up to 22nd after a string of solid performances against Sri Lanka.
