NEW DELHI: Mohammed Siraj was brimming with intensity and aggression as he rattled the stumps of the dangerous Travis Head. Head, who has been a constant thorn in India’s side, from the 2023 ICC Cricket World Cup final to the ICC World Test Championship final, had played a brilliant knock of 140 off 141 balls before falling to Siraj.
Siraj cleaned up Head with a deadly yorker and then stood close to him, giving a fiery send-off.
Head, in return, responded with a few words of his own.
Head’s knock included 17 fours and 4 sixes, and the Adelaide crowd gave him a thunderous round of applause as he walked off the field.
The crowd, however, booed Siraj for his send-off to Head.
