The Indian team’s upcoming pink-ball Test against Australia in Adelaide will be the 23rd Test to be played under the flood lights, with the Aussies coming out as the most successful team.
In comparison to Australia playing 12 day-night Tests, India have played just four and their only loss came in the one that they played against the Aussies in Adelaide on their last tour Down Under. The match saw India folding up for 36 all out in their second innings, which remains their lowest total in Test history.

However, India will be high on confidence heading to Adelaide this time, having started the five-match Border Gavaskar Trophy series with a resounding 295-run victory in Perth to go 1-0 ahead. But the pink-ball remains a tough proposition, more so in bouncy Australian conditions that make the challenge stiffer.
