In 2022, he smashed an unbeaten 220 runs against Uttar Pradesh in the Vijay Hazare Trophy, showcasing his incredible talent and determination. Exactly a year later, he followed it up with a stunning maiden T20I century against Australia, further solidifying his reputation as a rising star in Indian cricket.

Gaikwad also joined an elite list of players who have hit six sixes in an over in professional cricket.
